From the case

Adrianne Jones' body lies by the side of the lake with a fractured skull and two bullet wounds in her chest.

Her Killers lie in each others arms vowing never to confess to their passionate crime.

The police are at a loss and hunt desperately for a suspect. With no hard evidence they are faced with more questions than answers. What could be the motive for such a brutal murder? Who could live with the guilt of a young girls death?

Swearing allegiance is based on real life events which have been dubbed The Texas Cadet Murder in the States. The controversial story of love, betrayal and revenge is currently making the headlines in both the US and the UK media.

This film is the sensational dramatisation of those events.

Zoe's Review

This film follows young teenage Lovers Diane Zomora (Holly Marie Combs) and David Graham (David Lipper) as they try to cover up and live with the guilt of a murder they have committed.

Briefly, David has a one night stand with Adriannne Jones (Cassidy Rae) a classmate from his running club and confesses all to Diane. Realising that she has recently given up her virginity to someone who has betrayed her on this way, Diane sobs uncontrollably for hours. When she calms down she proclaims that the whole event was Adriannes fault and that she must suffer the consequences. The two lovebirds concoct a plan to murder Adrianne and carry out their plan soon after. We then follow the two as they try to keep their action secret and live with the guilt.

Holly features heavily in this film, and as such is a must see for any fan of hers. It is a genuinely captivating story following the two disturbed teenagers, so is worth watching for that alone. We were a little unsure about the Texan accents though.
