Larry Drake who won back-to back Emmy awards for his portrayal of Benny Stulwicz, the mentally retarded office boy on LA Law, stars as diabolical Dr Evan Rendall in this hilariously horrific thriller.

Moorehigh is a small town with a dark past: Thirty-five years ago, the inhabitants stoned Evans father to death for ripping the hearts out of his patients in a twisted attempt to find a cure for his ailing wife. Now the sun with a hideous giggle, who helped his deranged father perform the operations, has escaped from an asylum and returned home for revenge-and hes not shy about making house calls. You'll die laughing as two teenagers (Holly Marie Combs, Glenn Quinn) struggle to stay alive in this comic chiller, with gruesome makeup by the KNB EFX Group but Evans unlucky patients will just die.

Zoe's Review

I really enjoyed this film. It was both scary and funny at the same time without any overacting in either direction. The film follows Dr G as he tries to extract his twisted revenge on the town of Moorehigh. Many of the scenes are quite gruesome so if you are of a nervous disposition you may want to watch from behind the sofa.

Holly plays Jennifer Campbell, a teenager with a heart condition. When Dr Giggles hears that Jennifer has a broken heart he decides she needs hear transplant surgery and he is just the doctor to do the job. Jennifer isn't so keen on the idea though. We see Jennifer encounter several 'near misses' at the clutches of Dr G finally finishing him off with the aid of some powerful electricity giving some spectacular scenes.

I strongly recommend that you get yourself a copy of this film, which is a must not only for any Holly fan but also for anyone who enjoys this genre.
