Zoe's Review

The first thing Holly fans will notice is that the film is narrated by Holly herself, which obviously gives added value. The film follows the well off Anne Scripps Douglas throughout her relationship with her new younger boyfriend. After Her marriage, she finds her new husband becomes abusive and violent towards her. Her two daughters Alex (Holly Marie Combs) and Annie (Sarah Chalke) struggle to convince her to leave her husband but she is persuaded to give the relationship one last try for the sake of her new young child. While Alex is away with her boyfriend and Annie is out at a party the husband murders Anne and later kills himself by jumping off a bridge.

Holly's character is that of the strong daughter who does everything she can to look after her mother. This is a role that she plays well. The film is well put together and definitely worth seeing.
